The sun *finally* came out here today... and I took advantage of it. This means, I'm blogging at 9pm and am way behind on work ... but I have a lovely, sunny glow, so I suppose it's all worth it :)

I've been posting a lot of fashion lately -- likely because I'm going through shopping withdrawal out here -- so I'm happy to be posting something non-fashion related today.

These linen cocktail napkins are just the cutest thing ever. (Did I really just call napkins cute?) They make me think of sunny, breezy, outdoor parties with pretty cocktails & tasty finger food...

// Everyday dress-up

If I keep posting about kids gear, my friends are going to think I've got babies on the brain. Rest assured, this is not the case...

M & I bought the cute grey bonnet above for our little nephew a few months ago. We were really impressed with the quality and the motto behind all Patouche items -- clothes kids can get excited about, made as sustainably as possible. I've got my eye on the little red riding hood cape for our new niece...

// Drinking from the bottle

Who says it isn't classy to drink wine from the bottle? I'm in love with these hand cut, sandblasted wine bottle cups/containers from designer Plastolux. What a perfect, unique drinking vessel for a wine bar, restaurant... or your home.

// Demano

While wandering aimlessly through the streets of Barcelona, M & I stumbled into the Demano store, where discarded PVC banners, (which once hung in the streets advertising cultural events & exhibitions) are re-purposed into stylish, of a kind bags & accessories.

Their products range from messenger bags, to laptop sleeves (I want one!), to wallets, to home storage containers -- all created from a little piece of Barcelona history that would have ended up in a landfill.

I stumbled upon these beautiful felt flowers through her great blog. What a great way to accessorize a dress, shirt, tank top... anything!!

Bicycle Love

I just stumbled onto these images via A Farmhouse Wedding.

In our constant quest to personalize our wedding, I'm thinking that our cruiser bikes could be a great prop for post-wedding photos? We've had so many wonderful days out on our bikes it would be really nice to incorporate them into our day. I love love love the little "Just Married" signs on the backs of these bikes.

If the ceremony is close enough to the reception, we could even ride our bikes there!

My boss rocks

I can't begin to tell you how much I love my V&A William Morris print water bottle. My boss gave it to me over the holidays and it's an absolute must have in my day to day life. It's functional, environmentally friendly, so beautiful, and I'm always getting compliments on it! (mine is on the left)

I'm not sure exactly how they're wedding related - maybe they'd be a good addition to a BM gift? Or maybe your Mom would like one for Mother's Day? I got one for my Mom!
