Traveling with your partner - or anyone for that matter - for an extended period of time can be rather, um, "challenging" at times. While M & I have certainly had our ups and downs over the past few months, we've also stumbled into a few genius marriage savers along the way...
While staying in a hotel in Rome, we noticed that our king sized bed was made up of two singes. Odd, we thought... but soon the benefits became clear. Not only do you benefit from the spaciousness of a king sized bed -- but you cease being jarred awake at night by your partner's tossing & turning, because you're on your own little mattress island! It's seriously genius -- and at the top of our list of things to buy when we get home.
