Happy Monday, loves -- hope everyone had a spectacular weekend. What did you get up to?
Between baseball games (can you beat baseball, beer & hot-dogs on a sunny day?), birthday parties & soaking up the sunshine, I embarked on a new [messy/labour intensive/time-consuming/exciting!] project... de-upholstering (is that even a word?) a chair that I recently acquired on Craig's List. I have high hopes for the finished product... I think she will be beautiful.
As I get closer to upholstery phase of the project, I wonder if anyone has any good tips as to where I can get some good/unique upholstery fabric in Vancouver or available online? I'm looking for something bright, maybe floral? Patterned? Thoughts?

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog earlier today! Off to check out yours now :)

Ooooh, I love this! I can't wait to see what fabric you choose.
ReplyDeleteMood has fabric online that are pretty good. You can order swatches online too. I always like the fabric at calico corners, nbot sure if they're in vancouver though...
ReplyDeleteI'm stoked you're doing this! Can't wait to see the "after". I have a chair I've been too nervous to make-over myself. Perhaps you'll be an expert after this project and can help me out!
ReplyDeletebest of luck!!
Sounds like a stellar weekend to this girl. If de-upholstering isn't a word it should be :)
