M & I have been in Croatia, in a small town in the middle of nowhere, for two glorious weeks now. There is no hotel, no tourist attractions, (no reason to visit at all, really) and nothing to do. We have left the house exactly twelve times -- twice for dinner, the rest for groceries.

It's been one of the best weeks of my life. I'm relaxed & happy.
After two months of traveling -- packing our bags every three days -- I don't feel guilty at all.

Our days go something like this.... Wake up at noon. Drink tea/coffee in bed. Catch up on blogs/work/life while drinking more tea/coffee. M makes breakfast. More tea/coffee. More blogs/work. More tea/coffee. Read books. More tea/coffee. Go to grocery store. Pour a glass of beer/wine. Make dinner. More beer/wine. Eat dinner. Eat chocolate. Watch tv on the internet. Go to bed. Sleep. Repeat.

Heaven. Seriously.
That's all for today. Work's been nuts, so I thought I'd reflect on something happy!

There's a line in the movie Love Actually that goes something like this:

When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love.

When I stumbled onto this site today, the same sort of sentiment came over me.

The Moment Jars is a beautiful project, supporting a book, that allows people to contribute their moments. As I read people's moments, I realized, very few of these moments had anything to do with wealth, possessions, hate or greed - all had to do with love & life. It's a beautiful thing; those moments that shape us.

Sweet Seats

I'll admit I have a bit of a bike problem. When M & I met, I was bikeless, and over the past few years have acquired three of them - two fabulous old cruisers, and a commuter bike. Part of the cruiser's charm are their original well worn parts, but how cute are these cruiser seat covers?!

RIFLE love

I stumbled onto the RIFLE website tonight (via my new favorite blog) and have absolutely fallen in love with both her design & wedding portfolios. She does such an incredible job of branding weddings with charm, whimsy & elegance. And I'm really diggin' her RSVP web pages - they really complete the package.
