// Le perfect boot
I've been looking for the *perfect* black boots for, seriously, going on five years now. I've bought boots to fill the void, but have yet to find that *perfect* pair... but I think my search may have come to an end. (Just in time for summer?!).
Now, I just can't decide between the Frye boots (far left) or the Espace boots (far right). The FCUK boots (middle) were disqualified for having a heel. I work from home so really don't need an "office appropriate" boot... and lord knows I have enough heels already...

escape wins!
ReplyDeleteAgree! Although I've heard very good things about Frye...
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
Ok, we may not be BFF, we may actually be the SAME person. I have been looking *forever* for the right pair of black boots sans heel. I have yet to find them! I do like both you have chosen...but probably lean more toward Espace..Frye is a shade too country for me.
ReplyDeleteThese coincidences have stopped shocking me, Colene. I've come to terms with you & I living happily ever after as BFFs - wearing cute black boots, doing each others lace nails and going to Andrew Bird shows. Haha.
ReplyDeleteps. the Escape boots *are* amazing aren't they... now I wonder if I can find them somewhere that isn't charging $500 for them. Damn you, Gravity Pope!
ReplyDeletehum. i'm the only one who votes the frye (really i vote the fcuk, why did you even POST them if they are not a choice, dammit?)
ReplyDeletefrye is awesome. (only pair of shoes i have ever owned not to get trashed riding the moto) true they are a little country (k, i like that) but i am not digging on the soles & heels of the escape much.
and, i have been searching for the perfect BROWN boots for 5 years.
I love the one with the heel. heheh. Go with the Frye ones...they last forever.
ReplyDeleteI heart Frye boots. I found a gorgeous pair of Frye's called the Dorado Riding boot. They're a little less country and a bit more classic. Riding boots were on trend for Fall/Winter this year but since it's a classic style, it's worth the investment.
